The following are ancillary events that took place connected with ULTRASOUND and can serve as examples of outreach to the community. Each ancillary event had ASL interpreters or ASL and DI interpreters present.
Wed., May 4th – Egg Rolls with Andy at 6:30pm preceding the 7:30pm Performance, a conversation of Andy McKim, TPM Artistic Director with Joanne Cripps, Executive Director, DEAF CULTURE CENTRE.
Thurs., May 5th – Q&A following the 7:30pm ASL/English Deaf Interpreted (DI) Performance
Sat., May 7th – Relaxed Performance at 2:00pm
Sun., May 8th – Q&A following the 2:00pm Performance
Fri., May 13th – ASL Explore with Joanne Cripps at 6:30pm preceding the 7:30pm Performance
Sat., May 14th – Q&A following the 2:00pm ASL/English Deaf Interpreted (DI) Performance
Sat., May 14th – Crossing Gibraltar Presentation + Reception at 12:30pm preceding the 2:00pm Performance.
All pre-show and post-show activities were FREE with ULTRASOUND ticket purchase and had ASL/English interpretation. Information on Annual Deaf events were also included in the house program insert as well as online.
