In order to increase accessibility, it is important to provide patrons with information regarding audio assist devices available to them. We suggest the following steps:
- Create a simple visual sign that clearly shows which types of audio assist devices are available for patrons.
- Place visual signage in the front of house by the ticket booth where it is visible to patrons and can be referenced by staff in the ticket booth when communicating with Deaf patrons.
- Include visual signage on the website for patrons to be informed during their ticket transaction.
- Ensure Box Office and Front of House personnel are informed and educated on the devices available, their operation, and maintenance.
